We're seeking a passionate and dynamic Retail Store Manager who embodies the energy of New Balance, empowering their team to create a world-class retail experience that excites, educates, and entertains customers from all over the world.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Inspire and motivate your team to be ambassadors of the New Balance brand, fostering a positive and high-energy store culture.
2. Drive brand awareness by incorporating New Balance heritage and innovation into the customer journey.
3. Create memorable customer experiences by delivering exceptional service and sharing the New Balance story in engaging ways.
4. Lead by example on the shop floor and in back-of-house operations, championing teamwork and collaboration.
5. Ensure global operational standards, including visual merchandising, stock control, and loss prevention, are met and exceeded.
6. Analyze store performance and leverage global retail insights to drive productivity and enhance customer satisfaction.
7. Develop team excitement through ongoing training, development opportunities, and recognition programs.
8. Build cross-functional partnerships within the company to align local and global strategies for success.
9. Act as the face of the flagship store, engaging with customers, community events, and senior stakeholders to promote the brand.
10. Involvement in international projects and global brand-building initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
1. Proven leadership experience with a passion for motivating teams and creating an engaging work environment.
2. Strong storytelling skills to bring the New Balance brand to life for both customers and staff.
3. Knowledge of global consumer trends and an ability to integrate cultural insights into retail strategies.
4. Exceptional communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
5. Enthusiasm for achieving sales targets and developing team capabilities.
6. Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment, including availability on weekends and holidays.
7. Understanding of retail KPIs, loss prevention, and multi-channel operations.
