At Borough Broth we make award-winning broth using grass-fed and free-range organic meat from British farms, spring water and the finest vegetables, with absolutely no additives. As we continue to rapidly grow, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our ambitious team and help us in delivering top-quality bone broth to consumers nationwide across both major grocers and small independents. This role will require 2-3 days a week at our Factory in Greenford. Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing the forecasting process of both our raw materials and finished products and ensure a steady supply of products to meet customer demand. You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to optimise inventory levels, minimise stockouts, and improve demand accuracy. This is a dynamic role suited for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data and input from the sales and marketing teams. Collaborate with the production and supply chain teams to ensure optimal stock levels for production. Conduct regular reviews of forecast accuracy and adjust demand plans as necessary to improve performance. Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing demand insights and aligning forecasts with production capacity and inventory goals. Analyse demand and supply variances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Manage and report on inventory levels, ensuring stock availability while minimising wastage. Maintain strong communication and relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that planning is as accurate as possible. Qualifications: Experience demand planning in FMCG, preferably chilled supply chain. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. Experience using Google sheets Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. The ability to work independently while being a proactive team player.
