An opportunity has arisen for a part time clinical psychologist to join our interdisciplinary clinical team Shaftesbury Icanho is a highly specialist community-based brain injury rehabilitation service, with its base in Stowmarket Suffolk (within 45 minutes drive of Cambridge or Colchester and 20 minutes away from Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds) Icanho's client base is 100% acquired brain injury including stroke, traumatic brain injury, infection, hypoxia and tumour. Our clinical work is undertaken as an interdisciplinary team delivering bespoke packages of rehabilitation with the aim of helping clients and their families to achieve their goals and live a meaningful life after acquired brain injury. Clinical psychology is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team and our work with clients. We are looking for a passionate and creative clinical psychologist who is a team player and ideally experience of working with clients with brain injury or neurological conditions. You will receive regular supervision and work alongside the lead Clinical Psychologist to deliver a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service. This will include neuropsychological assessment, psychological formulation and individual and group interventions for clients. This may require joint working with family members and carers. At the same time, you will be continually building your skills and knowledge through training and CPD. This will include developing both your clinical psychology and clinical neuropsychology competencies. You also get the opportunity to work alongside other knowledgeable and enthusiastic members of the interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy and social work. The department has regular trainees on placement from the Doctoral Clinical Psychology courses from both the University of Essex and University of East Anglia.
