Role: Local Engagement Manager – Norwich Cluster
Location: At any of store locations. Remote working also considered, with travel to local services as required.
Salary: £35k pro rata
Your purpose
As a Local Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining key relationships on behalf of both the optics and audiology businesses supporting referral options throughout the community.
You will be the main point of contact, engaging with GP surgeries and pharmacies across the local area, promoting the services and alternative options we are able to deliver in store for patients.
Role Summary
You will be highly visible within the community, working with key stakeholders to understand the referral process and be able to deliver and showcase the benefits this can bring to all parties.
You will be required to work within essential boundaries and guidelines, but also possess the ability to be creative and proactive in your approach.
Key responsibilities:
1. Responsible for supporting the growth of referrals into our designated Specsavers stores.
2. Build and maintain key relationships with local GPs, pharmacists, etc., to build and implement referrer engagement plans, working within essential guidelines to maintain best practice.
3. Promote the benefits of referral service offering to local referrers and patients.
4. Analyse data to identify areas for further engagement within local services.
5. Tailor engagement methods and delivery of strategic referral plans to local services (e.g., conducting open days or presentations to stakeholders).
Skills & Experience:
1. Ability to influence and promote our service offering, encouraging local services to engage with referral plans.
2. Driven and self-motivated to manage own workload.
3. Use initiative and creativity to make this role your own.
4. Ability to analyse data.
5. Experience within a clinical or pharmaceutical services/sales background.
6. Event management.
7. Experience of promoting a service to multiple clients and onboarding new clients.
8. Ability to manage and maintain relationships with existing clients and effectively build positive and robust relationships with new clients.
9. Demonstrates the ability to work to regulator, professional and Specsavers clinical standards & guidelines.
10. Able to build a wide network and work in partnership with local services.
11. An ambassador for the Specsavers brand at all times.
