We are looking for a flexible and adaptable person to be a part-time Teaching Assistant at our school (two days per week, Thursday and Friday). You will be required to help and support across the school, determined by the needs of the pupils in our school. The role is varied and you will be required to support pupils individually and in groups. For part of your role you will be required to deliver interventions and support in-line with pupil’s individualised plans and also support the teacher to deliver teaching and learning. The role includes some lunchtime cover during the children’s lunch break each day. Initial deployment is likely to be to Upper Key Stage 2 so candidates will need to have

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, confident and competent Teaching Assistant on a fixed term basis until the end of Term 6.
We need a Teaching Assistant who:
has experience of working in the primary age range
is able to support the learning and social / emotional and learning needs of pupils on a 1:1 basis, within small groups or within the whole class
has emotional resilience, empathy and the motivation to work with pupils with a variety of different needs
is able to create a nurturing, challenging and effective learning environment for pupils
is energetic, enthusiastic, positive and adaptable
wants to work in a school with a caring, supportive and stable staff team
