Our client is a leading strategic consultancy and enterprise and best practices consulting firm working with global companies.
Job Description:
The associate consultant in the EMEA Benchmarking practice has a client-facing role at the heart of the value proposition to their clients. Our clients are major players (e.g. FTSE 100, DAX 30, Fortune 500) from various industries. The role is varied and requires agile, responsive, organised and motivated individuals to support clients through complex performance improvement consulting projects.
Core activities involve:
Validating data and seeking sign-off from the client on its accuracy
Participating in project planning activities with client teams.
Delivering training to client resources on Hackett’s benchmarking methodology.
Facilitating and supporting the client as they collect performance data.
An Associate Consultant will typically have the following:
Attributes:
* Intellectual curiosity and interest in performance management and strategy for business and support functions (Finance, HR, IT, Procurement)
* You should have strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and activities across multiple, simultaneous projects
* A high degree of professionalism and ability to interact and engage clients, ranging from administrative resources to C-Level executives, using empathy, content knowledge and personality to build long-term relationships
* You should have strong analytical skills, especially relating to the ability to collate large amounts of data and then identify and concisely communicate insights gained from this information
* Trustworthiness and personal integrity when accessing confidential Hackett and client data and information which is commercially sensitive
* Numerical literacy, strong MS Office skills and an eye for detail.
Experience:
* Non-mandatory but beneficial skills include fluency in a second language (besides fluent English).
* The associate consultant should also be willing to travel (the role combines onsite and offsite work) and has the permanent right to work in the UK.
* The associate consultant would report to one of the managers/directors in the EMEA benchmark practice. The role is in London.
* The associate consultant will be trained in leading methodology and IP via a combination of modular training courses, consulting soft-skill training as well as ‘on the job’ experience working directly with clients.
