Purpose of the Job
The Merchandise and Admin Organizer provides vital hands-on support for the sale and distribution of Purple Community Fund (PCF) products - made by communities in the Philippines - and assists with the Charity’s administration. The support is key to allow the teams in the Philippines to effectively conduct social work, community development, and health and income generation programs. Job Summary
The post holder will work with PCF’s Operations Manager, providing essential administrative support to PCF’s sister Charity in the Philippines, UpSkills Foundation (UFI), as well as support of the PCF’s fundraising activities in the UK.
Duties and Responsibilities
Products
1. Ensure stock room is well organised, and items are easy to find.
2. Put together shop orders, wholesale orders, and product boxes for supporters to sell.
3. Prepare related paperwork for orders, including posting.
4. Liaise with customers/supporters.
5. Organise the return of product boxes.
6. Manage distribution of products and inventory from the Philippines.
7. Conduct inventory at year end in both Warwick and Southampton stock rooms.
Fundraising
1. Assist Operations Manager with fundraising admin duties.
2. Assist with admin related to the child sponsorship program.
3. Answer phone calls and emails.
4. Sell merchandise occasionally at conferences, festivals, and selected tabletop sales.
Recycling
1. Unpack packages of recycled ring pulls and send thank you letters.
2. Take ring pulls to storage area.
3. Assist with content for the annual ring pull report to all collectors and customers.
Skills
1. Self-starting & well organised.
2. Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, and Google Drive.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11,000.00-£19,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
