They will drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives whilst ensuring excellence in delivery performance, supply chain oversight, risk management, ESG standards and robust operational resilience plans. About the role Responsible for leading and managing the strategic development of Royal London’s relationship with a select number of IT Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 suppliers, including those that support Important Business Services (IBSs). Leading conversations with the relevant business stakeholders to deliver a structured supplier management framework; and covering supplier performance, risk, cost and relationship considerations in line with Royal London’s Procurement and Third Party Management Policy and SRM Handbook best practices. You should be able to bring extensive thought leadership and external insight and will challenge and influence as a key contributor to the development of specific category and business area sourcing and supplier management strategies, aligning this to Royal London’s strategic outcomes and embedding into supplier account plans. Manage small team of Supplier Management professionals.
