About Security and Loss Prevention and the Role The Security team has responsibility for safeguarding THG and its employees across all sites within the business Within this newly created position of Retail & Corporate Security Manager at THG you’ll be at the forefront of developing, leading, and executing cutting-edge retail, corporate and physical security initiatives across a diverse and global portfolio of sites. You'll join an excellent Group Security team, with the unique responsibility of developing and enhancing our retail security strategy across our expanding retail estate. The role will oversee the strategic development retail loss prevention strategy for the business while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legal standards. Responsibilities: Retail Security Management : Oversee the Security and Loss Prevention operations across the retail estate, encompassing multiple brands, with a varied stock portfolio. Collaborating with both Divisional and Store Leadership to ensure the group retail security standards is implemented. Create and develop retail security strategies to enhance the security controls, in addition to the utilisation of technology to support in reducing risk across the retail estate Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and develop dynamic team of operators to ensure that key KPI’s and metrics are delivered, minimising business risk and enhancing stakeholder awareness. Providing support and training to maintain a consistent set standard Theft Investigations: Being the subject matter expert - Lead complex investigations end to end where theft or fraud has been identified, working with local authorities/police where required to ensure that the appropriate action is taken Strategic Development: Continued driven development of all areas of responsibility, driving enhancements, maintaining and developing operating procedures and enabling the fluidity of the function to align to current business needs Compliance & Reporting : Being a data driven business, working with our specific security data team, develop and produce specific detailed reporting highlighting key metrics, successes and opportunities across your area of responsibility Emergency Response and Crisis Management: As a pivotal role within the department, you will be act as a primary point of contact during emergency situations, ensuring the fluid escalation and support is provided throughout Requirements: 3 years proven experience of managing and developing a dynamic team 3 years previous retail security or loss prevention experience, preferably within a muti-store environment Strong knowledge of security technologies, including, electronic access controls, IAS, CCTV, EAS and EPOS systems Proven experience of carrying out complex investigations, with a good knowledge of the law, including PACE, Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software across all disciplines Strong analytical strengths, with the ability to utilise exception-based reporting across data sets to highlight potential suspicious//criminal activity Ability to be flexible with the needs of the business, travelling to specific locations and work outside of typical office hours as required Benefits: Career Development Access bespoke development programmes that have been designed and developed by our in-house L&D team.
