About the Role As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing and resolving claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal obligations while maintaining a high standard of service for our customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating and resolving complex claims while keeping policyholders informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities Manage a full caseload of claims, working within delegated authority principles and escalating where necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, policyholders, and third-party contractors.
Negotiate claim settlements within delegated authority limits.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the electronic case management system.
Act as the in-house expert for claims-related queries and provide guidance to the team.
