About your role
Genius Sports has a good baseline Salesforce Sales Cloud instance servicing our Marketing, Commercial, Rev Ops, Finance and Business Operations users such as Legal. We are about to embark on an exciting programme of work to re-imagine and re-engineer our Salesforce org to fully automate its order to cash process as our revenue is growing faster than our current programmes can keep up with and we want to take maximum advantage of a one-time initiative to build rock solid foundations upon which our future growth will be built.

Who you are
* A superb communicator, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Someone who can unpick complex problems and deliver concise recommendations
* Someone who understands that your colleagues and key stakeholders may not be tech savvy, so you will need to be able to articulate your solutions in an appropriate manner.
* You will design sustainable, extensible, and supportable solutions leaning towards OOTB solutions where possible.
* An experienced Salesforce Developer with 4+ years' experience in the eco-system
What you’ll bring
* Coding in APEX, Visualforce and Lightning Development
* Solid understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
* Code version control (GIT, other)
* Configuring OOTB Salesforce to the maximum achievable without coding
* Develops detailed designs and technical specifications
* Develops, configures and tests software to meet user requirements and associated acceptance criteria, performance criteria and non-functional requirements in line with quality standards
* Ensures that test plans and test cases are created to meet quality, functional and non-functional requirements
* Ensures that the designed and coded solutions meet the performance demands of the application, with governor limits in mind
* Provides deep technical backup to the internal Genius Sports teams
* Performs reviews of the system and suggests improvements if applicable
Technical Skills
* Salesforce: Sales cloud, Revenue Cloud, CPQ, Experience cloud, (Account Engagement is a plus), Process Builder, Workflow, Flow, Einstein Analytics, Triggers, Approval Process, Sharing & Visibility Management, LWC & Design System, Package Development, Connected App, WSDL, Lightning Mobile, Dashboard
* Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder, Javascript Developer
* Tools: DataLoader.io, VS Code & Extensions, GitHub, Copado
* Languages: Apex, Java, JS, SQL, SOQL, SOSL
* Hands on Integration experience, iPaaS such as Mulesoft and point to point
What you’ll do
* Enjoy being in the weeds of code or configuration, you will be capable of telling the good from the bad
* Work collaboratively with the Business Systems Salesforce team, being forward thinking and solutions focused.
* Create excellent documentation, write down your work, designs, decisions to ensure we have absolute requirements traceability
* Be curious and creative to bring new features to Genius.
This role is eligible for hybrid working
Most of your stakeholders are in departments who spend 2 days a week in the office, and you will need to be able to collaborate with them in person as and when required. As this is a key role for transformation, you may be required to be in the office twice per week, but we work flexibly to balance the needs of people, projects, and office space correctly.
