Business Compliance and Controls Analyst
Who we're looking for
We are looking for an ambitious Business Compliance and Controls Analyst to join our Real Estate team based in London. This role will assist the Head of Operational Controls, Real Estate in a number of areas, including compliance matters.

The team
Our award winning Real Estate department is an integral part of Schroders' Capital division. We manage a broad range of real estate funds globally, including open/closed ended direct funds, listed REITs, mutual funds investing in global real estate securities as well as private partnership and multi-manager funds.
What you'll do
• Provide compliance support to the UK Real Estate business and be a point of contact for compliance matters for Real Estate.
• Assist in maintaining and developing the control frameworks across Real Estate, and support the business with implementation of new requirements, including compliance with new regulations, procurement and supplier oversight.
• Provide cover for the Business Compliance analyst (including financial crime due diligence and name screening).
• Provide support to the Real Estate business on internal audits.
• Be the data representative for Real Estate, ensuring appropriate procedures are in place around information management.
• Draft RFP responses in relation to the control environment within Real Estate.
• Coordinate the maintenance and update of the Real Estate procedures and operating manuals.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
• This role would suit a committed, hardworking individual with some compliance or risk background, with good financial acumen.
• The role requires an adaptable individual who is willing to support the business in a wide range of matters.
• Real estate background and understanding would be beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
