HOURS: 6-2, 2-10, 10-6. 5 days a week rotating shifts
Job Purpose:
The Quality Operator will be responsible for the quality inspection and packing specification of the laminated (foiled) product as assigned by the Shift Co-ordinator.
Key Accountabilities:
* Carry out relevant quality checks/inspections on assigned products as required by the product quality plan.
* Segregate all non-conforming products from good production.
* Communicate information via the relevant communication channels.
* Record all required information for checking/inspection operations as per company works instructions/procedures.
* Alert relevant people to process and product concerns.
* Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Shift Co-ordinator and the training plan.
* Safeguard property issued by the company.
* Carry out continual visual quality inspections as determined by the product quality plan and procedure.
* Perform specific quality checks/tests as determined by the product quality plan.
* Pack laminated (foiled) products in accordance with the packing specification, as stated on the production schedule.
* Ensure workplace is clean and tidy – all housekeeping procedures followed associated with tasks.
* Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team (others).
* Undertake reasonable duties as and when required.
* Adhere to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
* Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
* Represent the organisation in a positive way to avoid damaging the corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.

Key Experiences and Skills Required:
* Basic level of numeracy and literacy.
* Ability to use a PC to an operational level.
* Experience in inspection of products.
Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Previous experience of working within an inspection role.
