About the company; An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled People Systems, Payroll & Data Manager to join a well-established Trust, overseeing and optimizing our payroll processes, people systems, and HR data management. This pivotal role will be integral to ensuring accurate payroll operations, driving efficiency through our HR systems, and maintaining data integrity to support strategic decision-making in preparation for the business to transition to a new operating model. Key Responsibilities Include; Lead the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll completion while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. Oversee the administration of the HRIS, maintaining data accuracy, system efficiency, and enhancing self-service capabilities. Implement upgrades and enhancements to HR systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs and comply with employment legislation. Maintain and audit employee data, ensuring compliance with regulations such as GDPR and right-to-work checks. Develop and present reports on workforce KPIs, payroll trends, and compliance, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making. Lead the implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies. Foster collaboration across departments to drive operational improvements and system efficiencies. Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance on system use, compliance, and continuous improvement. Ideal Candidate Experience; Experience of overseeing a payroll system & HRIS system (Cascade experience ideal but not essential). Degree-level qualification or equivalent in CIPD, Business Management, or a related field. Proven experience in HRIS and payroll system management. Knowledge of laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, particularly within regulated sectors. Demonstrated experience in leading teams, optimizing systems, and delivering insightful data reports. Strong problem-solving abilities and systems thinking approach whilst able to provide proactive solutions. Excellent communication and leadership skills with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
