Compliance Manager – Water & Ventilation

Length of contract: 6 months
Pay. £300-£340 per day
We are assisting a London NHS client with the recruitment of a Compliance Manager for Water & Ventilation on an 6 month Contract. The successful candidate will have had prior experience within the NHS in a similar position.
As the Compliance Manager – Water & Ventilation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our compliance with legal and statutory requirements across a complex, multi-site organisation. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, Hard Services, you will provide expert advice, lead strategic compliance initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in performance and safety standards.
Key responsibilities:
* Act as the Trust’s lead expert on Water & Ventilation compliance, providing professional advice on legislation and best practices.
* Develop and implement a robust compliance and assurance strategy for Hard Services, aligned with the Trust’s vision to 2030.
* Conduct site audits, monitor compliance metrics, and identify improvement opportunities to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
* Lead on internal audits and drive corrective actions, working collaboratively with operational teams to enhance service standards.
* Provide visible leadership, developing a high-performing, inclusive team while promoting the Trust’s values of Caring, Ambitious, and Inclusive.
What we’re looking for:
* A Master’s degree in a Hard Services discipline and membership in a recognised professional body.
* Substantial experience in a senior estates and facilities role, with expertise in statutory and legal compliance for water and ventilation systems.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate teams, influence stakeholders, and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
* The ability to analyse complex challenges and deliver practical solutions.
