As a full-time Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals who need assistance with daily activities due to age, illness, or disability. This role involves helping clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and mobility.
You will also offer emotional support and companionship, ensuring that clients feel valued and respected. Working closely with healthcare professionals to monitor and report any changes in the client's condition. Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential for this role, as it requires building trust and maintaining a positive, supportive environment for those in need.
The duties include:
• Personalised Care Plans: Tailored support for individuals in their own homes.
• Daily Hygiene Assistance: Help with washing, oral care, bathing, and dressing.
• Mobility Support: Assistance with getting up and going to bed.
• Meal Preparation: Encouragement and support during mealtimes.
• Medication Administration: Ensuring health and safety with precise care.
• Household Assistance: Creating a nurturing and supportive living environment.
• Toileting Support: Help with toilet visits and changing incontinence aids.
• Specialised Equipment Use: Safe and respectful movement of clients.
• Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintaining continuity of care.
• Emotional Support and Companionship: Providing comfort and companionship.

Essential Requirements:
• Car owner/Driver
• Commit to working every other weekend
• Work a minimum of 16 hours per week
