Jewellery Maker is a leading craft brand focused on creating demonstration led live shopping television. As part of the Gemporia Craft family of brands (Sewing Street & HobbyMaker), Jewellery Maker is focused on bringing to life the passion, dedication and excitement of jewellery making.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate presenter to support the next chapter in Jewellery Maker’s journey. You will be a passionate storyteller with the ability to be ‘the friend in the living room’. Whilst focus is on articulating product and developing creative ideas you will need to be passionate about sales and growing the craft of Jewellery making.
You will have the ability to adapt to many voices and situations, be that working closely with a guest designer on air or dissecting conversations with your producer and director over talkback.
Reporting to the Head of Sales (Jewellery Maker), the role of a presenter is to drive engaging, informative and sales focused crafting television. Utilising the art of demonstration to bring to life jewellery making products, brands and designers. You will be working as part of a small live television team with the support of a producer, director and technical team putting the customer first in everything you do.
Responsibilities are the following, but not limited to:
- Presenting 5 hours of informative, engaging and sales focused live television focused on building customers and product demand.
- Pre-preparation is key and much of this is done before the shows are live. The ‘none live’ element of the role is focused on developing customer focused reasons to purchase.
- Storytelling is everything! Be the friend in the living room but also the focus and ability to build on a ‘call to action’.
- Embrace education and always be inquisitive.
- Identify emerging trends in the market and have the ability to create sales focused presentations based on these.
- Build lasting and developing relationships with guests, guest demonstrators and co presenters.
- Attend regular planning meetings to collaborate with marketing, product & scheduling teams.
- Work closely with the Head of Sales to plan and deliver product launches and events to the best of their potential.
- Drive innovation in the company and the industry, ensuring that we are market leaders in jewellery making education and delivering new products that meet customer needs, price expectations and satisfy margin targets.
- Working closely with the buying and planning teams to develop focused product sales.
- Develop and support introduction to emerging ‘live shopping’ on ‘Meta’ and ‘TikTok’ shop.
- Always ensure a high standard of team performance and cross-team collaboration.

Working hours:
6.30am to 2.30pm, with 5 hours live presenting (Live show begins at 8am).
The shift pattern is a rotating 7-day fortnight including weekends.
