Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools. This role involves maintaining, assembling, and repairing various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Mechanic will also be responsible for diagnosing issues and providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Duties
1. Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
2. Assemble and disassemble components as required for repairs or upgrades.
3. Perform equipment repairs, including welding when necessary, to restore functionality.
4. Utilise schematics to troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively.
5. Engage in heavy lifting as needed during the repair process.
6. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
7. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools proficiently.
3. Previous experience in equipment repair and maintenance is essential.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude are vital for success in this role.
