Wargrave House School (ages 5–16) & Ascent College (ages 16–25) operate a non-maintained special school and independent specialist college with excellent reputations for delivering outstanding education and care. We are the first national provider to receive Beacon status from the National Autistic Society. We are looking to appoint a confident and reliable Premises Assistant who holds key maintenance skills and a corresponding knowledge of health and safety. You will be responsible for undertaking a variety of maintenance duties across our multiple sites. You will also be a key holder and participate in a standby rota therefore you must be able to attend to call outs at unsociable hours. The use of your own vehicle is necessary as you will be expected to travel to different sites to support our activities. This is a very varied, interesting role and plays an integral part of the charity’s support team. You will be representing the charity when dealing with contractors, suppliers and visitors.
