Senior Payroll Administrator
We are searching for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our world-class London People Shared Services Centre, a team of skilled People and Payroll professionals, responsible for providing service delivery for our UK & Ireland business which supports an employee population of over 16,000.
Responsible for providing payroll services to our Turner and Townsend business, working in collaboration with our Payroll Provider, Dayforce. The first point of contact for all payroll queries ensuring appropriate triage and allocation via the case management system. The role is also responsible for providing cover within Data Input and Validation Teams as required, as well as providing support within the Payroll Administration team dealing with internal and external payroll queries, and year-end activities. The role will also be providing project support, working with Dayforce to ensure system enhancements and upgrades are implemented successfully, as well as coordination of enhancement activity within the payroll team.
This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
What You’ll Do
1. Payroll support for the Turner and Townsend business, including all payroll activities and first line query management
2. Act as support and cover for Data input and validation teams for the rest of the UK and Ireland workforce
3. Managing and triaging case management tickets allocated to payroll department
4. Acting as a point of contact for the business regarding payroll queries and information
5. Provide subject matter expertise to business projects requiring payroll input, or information.
6. Acting as a point of contact for external third-party queries requiring payroll information
7. Assist and train Team members as required
8. Deputise for the Payroll Team Leader as necessary
9. Coordinate continuous improvement ideas and initiatives to enhance payroll processing activities
What You’ll Need
1. Experience working within complex payroll departments with multiple payrolls with differing T&C’s
2. Experience of Payroll Data input via uploads in volume and completing manual payroll calculations
3. Can work to defined deadlines and cut-offs, with the ability to prioritise workloads
4. Strong understanding of Payroll and People processes
5. Experience working with a Managed Service Payroll provider
6. Experience working on payroll related or technology projects, including system testing
