As a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll: Develop and grow sales across the UK and Eire through direct and distributor-led channels. Leverage your technical expertise to sell high-value products such as instrumentation, measuring systems, or capital equipment. Build long-term relationships with customers in industries like manufacturing, precision engineering, and metrology. Identify upselling opportunities to expand product usage within existing accounts. Deliver product demonstrations, provide technical advice, and pre-qualify sales opportunities. Meet and exceed annual sales targets while maintaining accurate CRM records. Provide regular market and sales performance updates to senior management. What You’ll Need to Succeed We’re looking for candidates who have: Experience selling products (not services) within manufacturing, precision engineering, electronics, or metrology sectors. A proven track record in technical sales, with success in hitting or exceeding sales targets. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly and persuasively. The ability to build strong, long-term customer relationships. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
