Title: Maintenance Planner Location: Plymouth, Devon Shifts: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 benefits package (See below) My client, a global leader in medical technology, is looking for a passionate and experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team in Plymouth. You'll be part of a dynamic team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. Responsibilities: Create detailed work plans and schedules for preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Gather necessary personnel, tools, and spare parts for scheduled maintenance tasks. Analyze equipment history and maintenance data to improve planning, increase reliability, and reduce downtime. Create, prioritize, and manage work orders within the CMMS system (SAP), ensuring accurate documentation. Work closely with the Maintenance Technical Leader, Spare Parts Coordinator, production, engineering, and procurement teams for efficient communication, scheduling, and resource allocation. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, MTTR, and MTBF to assess maintenance effectiveness. Ensure all planned maintenance activities meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies. Take ownership of all responsibilities outlined in their job description and any relevant procedures or processes. Perform other duties as required to support the overall needs of the business. Requirements: Minimum Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience. Proven track record in a technical role within a production environment. Experience in a plant maintenance environment, ideally focusing on production equipment in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Knowledge of maintenance systems and procedures, with SAP experience preferred. Previous experience with maintenance scheduling, task list formulation, and material and resource planning.
