We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst.
The overall purpose of the Business Analyst role is to support the delivery of key organisational projects by identifying business issues, gathering requirements, and designing solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and improve service delivery. This role will act as a bridge between business functions and technical teams, ensuring that proposed changes align with organisational goals and provide tangible benefits.
While the role will primarily focus on large-scale projects, the Business Analyst will also support smaller initiatives, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The Business Analyst will also help define and shape the Business Analysis capability within Valleys to Coast, setting standards with regard to approach, documentation, tool sets etc.
We are looking for someone who will facilitate or support workshops and sessions with colleagues to elicit and document business requirements, challenging positively where required, develop and manage requirements documentation, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders and support continuous improvement efforts through ongoing analysis and feedback.
As part of the role you will act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure solutions meet user needs, conduct testing and validation of system changes to ensure successful implementation and perform data analysis to support evidence-based decision-making.
