A new role presents itself at the Lichfield site for an experienced Planning Co-ordinator.
What will you contribute…
1. Work with the Resource Planning Manager to produce effective labour plans for each warehouse shift.
2. Analyse historical data and project future resource needs.
3. Review resource requirements and make recommendations according to forecast adjustments, absence, customer requirements, seasonal peaks etc.
4. Monitor daily labour variances to ensure full and accurate labour resource requirements are formed on a daily and weekly basis and adjusted as required.
5. Provide Resource Planning Manager with daily/weekly KPI/performance reports to ensure continual improvement throughout the warehouse – daily dashboard updates.
6. Monitor downtime and performance with onsite tools.
7. Monitor daily and weekly agency requirements and weekly hours reconciliation & weekly updates around FTE.
8. To provide support to Resource Planning Manager with required data for meetings.
9. To understand all internal processes specific to your role to suggest areas of development within the resource planning team.
10. To operate performance management tool in conjunction with the planning tool.
11. Support and drive innovation within the resource planning department.
12. Provide a link between departments across site to ensure consistent information.
13. Offer support to teams across the network to help progress resource planning.
14. Offer support to Resource Planning Manager with managing of the local on-site team.
15. Cover tasks throughout departments when required.

16. Well-organised and analytical with a sound knowledge of the principles of warehouse operations
17. Good knowledge and understanding of MS Excel.
