If you are a current Operations Manager looking to step up in to a role with a rapidly growing SME and autonomously lead a brand new site then this role may be for you.
My client has recently opened a new site and is looking for an experienced candidate to lead the site and operations staff.
1. Responsible for looking after all production, engineering technical and warehouse, staff training, supervising, risk assessments, health and safety and manage KPI’s
2. Ensure delivery of products and services committed to customers, at the agreed price and quality, at the appropriate time
3. Ensure that staff are appropriately trained and supervised to carry out their roles effectively and are developed for future personal and business developments
4. Develop and keep current, standard company process documentation and tools to train staff and ensure quality and production standards are continually improved
5. Responsibility for the achievement of agreed budget for manufacturing and logistics costs
6. Improving leadership and team building skills
7. Champion continuous improvements in efficiency of production
8. Own and manage the manufacturing process to maximise product quality standard
9. Management of incoming and outgoing distribution process to ensure cost effective performance and meeting customer delivery dates
10. Day to day running of the production facilities, maintenance and product planning activity ensuring engineering cover in place to minimise production downtime
