Finatal has partnered with a PE fund for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a fast-growing Pharma business. Sector experience is essential. The company, with a current revenue of c.£20 million, is on an ambitious growth trajectory, targeting a potential exit in the next couple of years. This is a critical leadership role for an individual with a strong background in M&A, buy-and-build strategies, and financial leadership within the Life Sciences / Pharma sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all financial activities, providing strategic financial leadership to support growth initiatives.
* Due to the B&B focus, drive M&A activity including acquisitions and bolt-ons, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth and exit objectives.
* Oversee financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, working closely with the executive team and board of directors.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a CFO, specifically in the Life Sciences or Pharma sector.
* A strong M&A background with demonstrable experience leading buy-and-build strategies, acquisitions, and bolt-on deals.
* Previous experience working in a high-growth business, ideally with revenue around £20 million or more.
* Exit experience is highly desirable, particularly in terms of preparing for and executing business sales or IPOs.
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is preferred.
