Excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the team of this well established business located in their Wrexham Head Office. This position would suit an individual with all round experience in accounts, bookkeeping and purchase / sales ledger. Candidates applying should ideally have their AAT qualification or an equivalent accountancy qualification. Duties & Responsibilities Answering purchase/sales ledger queries Reconciling supplier statements and payments Reconciling bank balances Assisting with transactional processing duties (posting and raising invoices, credit control etc.) Weekly external payroll payments and journals Prepare monthly and annual ledger reconciliations Intercompany journals and recharges Allocation of expenses and credit cards Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Have experience in a similar role Be AAT qualified Sage 50 experience would be desirable Experience working in an SME would be desirable Have strong interpersonal skills Be able to adapt to change, problem solve and keep a 'can do’ attitude You will be working 8:00 am to 16:30 pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.00 am to 4.00 pm Friday with a salary of around £26,000.00 - £28,000 per annum plus a range of benefits including holidays rising to 25 plus bank holidays
