We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to play a vital role in helping the legal department function by providing support in various legal and administrative functions. This position contributes to ensuring legal compliance, document management, and effective communication with external parties to meet the company's legal needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting searches (including Land Registry searches) and assisting with the Land Registry registrations.
* Assisting in the creation and drafting of various legal documents, such as leases and commercial agreements, in accordance with the company's needs and legal standards.
* Communicating with external parties, including solicitors, law searchers, and mappers.
* Efficiently managing both electronic and hard copy legal files, ensuring documents are organised and easily accessible when needed.
* Handling phone calls professionally, accurately recording messages, and promptly conveying important information to the appropriate individuals within the company.
* Providing general administrative support to the legal department, which may include tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing legal documents.
* Assisting with any other administrative duties and tasks as required by the Legal Counsel and the legal department to ensure the effective operation of legal processes within the company.

Minimum Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a law firm.
* Experience with Land Registry searches and registrations in Northern Ireland (and ROI would be advantageous but not essential).
* Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to handle own workload under supervision, and to work to set deadlines.
* Organised, methodical and strong attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
