Echocardiographer (Bank) Flexible, Part-Time
GPHealth Partners (GPHP) is looking for an experienced BSE accredited Echocardiographer to start within their team as soon as possible on a bank contract basis. The successful applicant will be able to show a proven record of working to a high standard and will be a self-motivated clinical expert who is organised, flexible, reliable and comfortable working autonomously but with on-site support from the GPHP team. We have clinics running across two locations, Leatherhead Community Hospital (KT22 8SD) and The Mezzanine Level above the Derby Medical Centre in Epsom (KT19 8AG). Days and hours are flexible but ideally applicants should be able to offer a minimum of 1-2 clinics per month or preferably 1 clinic per week.
Main duties of the job
* Perform BSE standard echocardiography examinations and reports to ensure the provision of a high-quality advanced adult echo service.
* Provide reports for scans.
* Contribute to quality improvement.
* Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.
* Ensure that personal knowledge is kept up to date and reflects current requirements in clinical echocardiography.
What we need from you
You will be able to demonstrate your detail-oriented thinking, interpersonal skills and technological aptitude.
* BSC Clinical Physiology or equivalent.

* Awareness and compliance with national standards of infection control, hygiene, regulatory / contractual / professional requirements, and good practice guidelines.
* Correct personal use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring correct use of PPE by others, advising on appropriate circumstances for use by clinicians, staff and patients.
* Report incidents using the organisations Incident Reporting System.
* Use personal security systems within the workplace according to organisational guidelines.
* Make effective use of training to update knowledge and skills.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Clinical Physiology Degree.
* BSE accreditation or equivalent is essential.
* Comfortable working solo in a community clinic.
