Job Description
Space Planner – Retail/FMCG
Contract - 6 months initially - INSIDE IR35
London - Hybrid
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Oil and Gas organisation in Central London for a Space Planner to join them on a contractual basis.
The organisation has over 525 service stations around the UK. In this role, you will be utilising space planning tools and your Retail Space Planning expertise to optimise all available sales opportunities and to support the broader team to define the customer offer.
As a Space Planner, you will be responsible for managing the retail displays on all service stations to drive profitable growth, now and in the future. You will be working with Category Managers to co-own profitable micro space range reviews and planograms, maximising macro space to deliver sales and profit through managed floorplans.
For this role, we are keen to engage with a highly skilled and qualified professional planogram designer with direct experience in Retail Space Planning, with a minimum of 5 years experience in both micro and macro space planning with either a retailer or blue-chip FMCG supplier.
Due to the wide scope of work, you must have strong analytical skills and the experience needed to interrogate reports and market data to provide robust recommendations.
In addition, you should be an expert in the use of JDA Space Planning Tools (JDA/INTACTIX/Spaceman/Omniscope) including assortment optimisation and floor planning, combined with full knowledge of AutoCAD, Macromedia Flash, and CKB.
This is a 6-month initial contract with a view to extend.
The organisation is located in Central London and offers hybrid working, ideally 1-2 days onsite per week; however, they can be flexible given your location/commitments.
The role falls inside IR35, so you’d need to work via an umbrella company.
