Accounts Assistant required for a temporary to permanent opportunity in Atherstone. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately, being extremely organized in a manner that is easily read by others.
The job involves providing administrative support to the accounting department, following stringent procedures while performing tasks such as:
1. Data entry
2. Invoice processing
3. Bank reconciliations
4. Maintaining financial records
5. Assisting with basic bookkeeping functions
Ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks, with proficiency in accounting software Sage & Excel.
Any knowledge of export procedures would be an advantage as many of our clients are based in Europe and the USA, but this is not essential. You must have a good telephone manner and be able to liaise on a professional basis with clients and suppliers.
This role is office-based, with working hours of 37.5 hours per week. The schedule can be either:
1. 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, then 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Friday
2. 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Friday
