We are seeking to appoint a part-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) on a fixed-term contract from January to August 2025. Your role will be to support pupils, teachers, and the school in raising achievement standards for all students. You will use advanced knowledge and skills to assist with planning, monitoring, assessing, and managing classes, encouraging pupils to become independent learners, supporting their well-being, and promoting inclusion in all aspects of school life. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, phase Lead and SENCO, and should have good literacy, numeracy skills and a professional approach to provide support to our teachers and students in the classroom, covering a variety of learning activities. Candidates must also be able to use their own initiatives and have a good standard of spoken and written English. They must have proven experience in a school setting working with primary age group children. You will also provide support to the wider school and as an integral member of the Learning & Teaching team.
