JOB TITLE: Graphic Designer

THE ROLE
As a Graphic Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the visual identity of Rangers Football Club. Working as part of a dynamic, fan-focused team in a fast-paced environment, you will contribute to a variety of projects, including digital, social, print, and motion assets.
As well as graphic design expertise, this role also requires strong motion design skills to create impactful animations and video content for a wide range of club campaigns. From ideation to execution, you will ensure all creative outputs align with Rangers F.C.’s brand standards and deliver engaging supporter experiences across all touchpoints.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Design:
* Develop high-quality graphic and motion design assets for digital, social media, web, out-of-home, and stadium branding.
* Deliver graphics and animations and motion graphics for campaigns such as product promotions, social videos, and matchday content.
* Conceptualise and produce designs for events, hospitality lounges, and other club initiatives.
Brand Guardianship:
* Maintain the integrity of Rangers F.C.’s brand by ensuring consistency and quality across all design outputs.
* Support in evolving the club’s visual identity, introducing fresh and innovative design ideas while adhering to brand guidelines.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with the wider marketing and design teams to interpret creative briefs and deliver impactful solutions.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and within deadlines.
Project Management:
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing motion design and graphic design needs.
* Plan and prioritise tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
Innovation and Trends:
* Stay up to date with industry trends, particularly in sports and motion design, to ensure Rangers F.C. remains at the forefront of creative innovation.
THE CANDIDATE
Job Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with expertise in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
* A strong portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and motion design skills.
* Experience in producing motion graphics and animations, from ideation to execution.
* Solid understanding of layout, typography, and design principles.
* Ability to deliver static and animated assets for digital, social, and print platforms.
* Experience in managing creative projects and working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills
* Experience in the sports industry or working on sports-related campaigns.
* Knowledge of creating assets optimised for animation or building animations from static designs.
* Familiarity with 3D software or tools (e.g., Cinema 4D) is a bonus.
Additional Notes
* Candidates must submit a design portfolio showcasing both motion and graphic design work as part of their application.
* Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or matchdays is required.
