Pastoral Intervention Lead
Salary: Grade F SCP17 – SCP23
Actual salary £25,712 - £28,539
37 hours per week Term Time Plus 5 days
Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm & Friday 8:00am to 3.30pm
with a 30 minute lunch break each day
We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral Intervention Lead to work across both our school sites, include Lower School (Year 7) Upper School (Year 8-11) and our Behaviour Support Centre, which has a base at both our lower school and upper school sites. Our young people need a positive role model who has high expectations, whilst being enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated. They should be willing to help students to discover their potential whilst building their confidence, resilience and self-esteem, and set them up for success.
The role will primarily involve supporting a variety of students who are in need of further support to meet our high expectation, and who may need more bespoke support and guidance to allow them to develop the social, emotional and resilience skills required to thrive at our high performing school.
You will support our students in a variety of ways including; mentoring, attendance, behaviour management, as well as developing life skills, restorative programmes and intervention. We strive to meet the individual needs of every student, motivate them and support them on their journey to success and ensuring they become a valued part of both the school and wider community.
The school has strong links with the local community with a heritage of 450 years and is successful and popular with parents.
