Typical Shift as a Bank Support Worker:
* We are an Ofsted Service working with young people aged 16+, leaving care and preparing them to live independently.
* There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from assisting customers with their practical, daily living tasks to working through support plans, helping them to achieve independence.
* One shift you might be waking someone up for college, helping cook a meal, helping budget, the next you might be enjoying fish and chips by the sea with your customer. There are possible waking nights for those who fancy a night shift.
* You will be working in accommodation-based services, which are Ofsted registered.

You Bring:
* Enjoyment working with young people.
* Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
* Experience as a Support Worker. It is important that you have worked in this type of environment before.
* A positive, can-do, and caring attitude, with the desire to learn to continue making a difference in our customers' lives.
* Previous experience of working with support plans, recording, and using information concisely and effectively.

Our Team:
You’ll join our wider services in Weston Super Mare and the great thing is you can pick up shifts in any of these services that need it! Currently, we have hours available with our manager Christina Nicholls. Our team is super passionate about what we do! We’re a supportive bunch, and between us, we have hobbies and interests including walking, eating out, and travelling.
Job Details:
* Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, doing mandatory learning, and keeping in touch with colleagues.
* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done, and we pay for that.
