PURPOSE: The Strategic Account Manager for Aquatic Informatics (AQI) is responsible for establishing, building and growing the most impactful large, high growth potential customers in the UK, Ireland and Western EU geography. The SAM is someone that can leverage their professional understanding of the entire customer organization especially C-suite leadership. The goal is to align AQI's software product offering in a way that achieves strategic annual B2B customers with the most important strategic partners. We use a solution and consultative based selling approach to provide customers with critical water data management software. Additionally, you will ensure that our customers renew their annual support/subscription services and look for opportunities to tackle additional customer challenges with the Aquatic Informatics suite of software solutions. The SAM will serve as the lead point of contact for the AQI sales organization in EU and UK. This is a remote role and can be based out of UK, Ireland or Western EU. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Work with existing customers to become a trusted advisor and understand their use of our software. - Find opportunities to expand customer usage into new applications, use cases, and other business units to significantly increase wallet share of software and services, while helping the customer achieve their digital transformation goals. - Ensure that recurring support/subscription contracts are renewed each year. - Drive sales growth within the existing customer base. - Identify and qualify new cross-brand sales opportunities with other Veralto OPCOs including Hach and OTT Hydromet. Build and maintain outstanding relationships with other Veralto sales representatives in the territory. - Respond to request for proposals/tenders, overseeing and developing the AQI proposal, collaborating with internal stakeholders. - Develop and deliver sales presentations collaborating with Technical Sales professionals and Development Engineers. - Network with colleagues in the environmental and municipal water space at conferences and trade shows to stay abreast of topics in your territory that are driving water quality and backflow compliance. - Travel up to 50% of your time. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Education: - Post-secondary degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience: - 8 years of experience in enterprise or cloud software sales. - Track record of closing large and/or complex software deals and consistently exceeding sales targets. - Familiarity with the environmental and/or the water industry is highly preferred. - Consultative solutions-based sales or direct sales experience preferred. Skills: - Specialized depth and breadth of sales expertise and account management. - Ability to Interpret internal and external business challenges to make recommendations on best practices and improve sales processes. - Proven independent, results-driven work ethic. - A self-starter and teammate who is motivated to succeed. - Superior people/customer relationship skills. - Ability to learn new software applications quickly. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and time management skills. - Fluent in English. Working language proficiency in Italian or French preferred.
