Looking to take the next step in your career? An ambitious and dedicated Property Manager is needed to join our Residential Property Management team based within our Oxford office. As a Property Manager, you will play a key role in our growth and development, receiving training and support in order to meet set targets. You will manage a portfolio of let properties throughout the entire rental process, from inventory and schedule of condition (check-in) to tenancy termination (check-out), ensuring all departmental targets are met.
We offer the flexibility to work from home one day per week, along with the convenience of on-site parking, with working hours from 9.00am to 5.30pm.
The post holder will join a team of 10 working across a range of levels and support functions. Our Oxford office has over 100 professionals across our main divisions which means there are lots of exciting events going on with various office socials, health & wellbeing and fundraising activities to get involved in.

Main tasks:
1. Administer the management of let residential properties to include efficient and correct handling of problems arising during the tenancy, managing any repairs, overseeing check-ins and check-outs and negotiating deposit returns.
2. Conduct 6-monthly inspections of all properties, advising Landlords of any changes or issues arising. Promptly notifying tenants of any areas where action is required.
3. Manage the relationship with the landlord, including reporting maintenance and accounts matters.
4. Identify and recommend need for property upgrades and refurbishment, organising any between tenancy work, including that arising from dilapidations to allow for a timely re-let to maximise Landlord’s income.
5. Maintain a working knowledge of compliance information.
6. Assist in the management of properties owned by institutional landlords, ensuring that their specific requirements, investment goals, and compliance standards are met.
What will it take to be successful?
To be successful in this role, you will have proven knowledge of the property industry gained from either a previous role in property management or a similar field. You will have a professional manner and excellent customer service skills at all times, be a strong administrator and have good organisational skills. The chosen Property Manager will have the ability to take the initiative in a confident and personable manner, be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills. Numerate with excellent written and verbal communication along with fine attention to detail.
