JOB TITLE: Medical Administrator
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent (24 hours)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Practice Manager
RESPONSIBLE FOR: General Admin Duties
We are looking for a pleasant and well-organised Administrator with a positive attitude to join our friendly team at Dollar Health Centre. This is a very fast-paced and busy environment, duties will be varied and cover a full range of reception and administration tasks.
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals and others. To act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the Practice and to portray the Practice in the highest possible professional basis. To ensure that enquiries from patients are efficiently and courteously handled to the mutual satisfaction of the partners and patients. To assist the clinical team in the service and delivery of the care management of the practice population.
Applicants should demonstrate competence in the following areas:
* Mature and positive attitude to work.
* Ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Being able to follow processes, procedures and respect confidentiality at all times.
Working Hours: 24 hours per week Monday-Friday, between the hours of 7.45am and 6.15pm. Flexibility is essential to cover annual leave of colleagues and any sickness absence.
Experience: Experience working in a public-facing environment would be an advantage.
