Dispatch Coordinator & Warehouse Support – 18 Months Fixed Term Contract
Closing Date for Applications – 28th March (COB)
The dispatch coordinators are responsible for ensuring that product is shipped to customers in accordance with GSK SOP and expectations, and providing support to the warehouse team when required.
In this role you will:
* Ensure that product manufactured at Worthing is dispatched optimizing vehicles. Organize returns from local service providers when requested to support investigations.
* Progress orders through the warehouse, coordinating and generating loading lists to ensure pick up of goods ready for dispatch and carrying out SAP/PIMMs transactions in a timely manner.
* Generate/print/collate/sign original documentation, packing lists, and invoices to support shipments for LSP and consulars.
* Investigate/understand/resolve issues preventing the dispatch of goods. Produce reports to support KPI performance measures and proactively carry out CI.
* Support delivery of weekly order book and assist the warehouse team as required.
* Support ad-hoc requests for deliveries (outside of the standard process).
Why you
Qualifications & Skills:
* GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent, basic computer literacy, and good interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is not essential but preferred.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Proficiency with computers.
* Understanding of GSK processes and systems.
* Knowledge of GMP and adequate knowledge of planning and inventory control.
