Role Overview Our team consists of four Orthodontic Consultants, two Orthodontic Specialty Trainees, one Specialty Doctor in Orthodontics, and one part-time Orthodontic Therapist. The unit is supported by a well-established team of dental care professionals alongside a bespoke Orthodontic laboratory, aiming to provide a patient-focused service with emphasis on quality and efficiency. The Orthodontic department is situated in a bright, newly furnished open-plan clinic environment with X-ray facilities. Key Responsibilities Provide an orthodontic service, implementing care plans and performing non-complex orthodontic procedures. Contribute to the clinical management of patients requiring orthodontic treatment, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to improve patient care. Conduct research and audit on delivery of patient care. Facilitate and participate in audit and quality assurance programmes, promoting evidence-based practice. Teach, mentor, and assess students, trainees, and professional staff to promote a learning culture. Qualifications and Experience We are looking for someone who: Enjoys being part of a small team. Is fabulous with patients. Has a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy with an active GDC registration. Working Pattern 16 hours per week. Interview date: To be confirmed.
