In this role you’ll work in a hybrid way, splitting your time between home and coming into the office at least 1 day a week (find out more about our hybrid working policy at colleagues.coop.co.uk/hybrid-working-policy) We’re looking for a Portfolio Planner to join Co-op’s Supply Chain. In this role, we’ll look to you to help optimise store on-shelf availability for new stores and refit stores, making sure that our customers have access to the products that they need, when they need them. We’ll also need you to use your analytical skills to interpret data to understand how we can reduce store wastage and make decisions that strategically influence the store demand forecast. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and gain great exposure within retail supply chain. What you’ll do Track the performance of your refit / new stores and feedback issues to supply chain and logistics, providing root cause analysis and resolution Support any strategic activity and make recommendations on new initiatives to facilitate continuous improvement Analyse data for stores, using the insights to enable informed decision making and accurate forecasting Promote the importance of the profitability framework to stores Identify and resolve customer facing availability options Build strong relationships based on confidence and trust with stores and across relevant functions within the supply chain Use your great communication skills to provide a framework for profitable sales and take onboard feedback This role would suit people who have Outstanding relationship building and influencing skills with colleagues across multi functions Excellent analytical skills with experience of working with large datasets, spotting trends and drawing insights from these The ability to easily adapt and react to changes and conflicting priorities Intermediate Excel skills – you’re able to learn V-lookups, formulas, and pivot tables Why Co-op?
