The Role As Project Controls Manager, you will report to the PMO Lead while being embedded within one of the SZC Delivery Programmes. You will take full responsibility for all aspects of project controls, ensuring accurate and timely cost data, performance analysis, earned value assessments, and financial reporting. You will play a key role in driving performance improvements and ensuring project governance standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the project controls team within the delivery programme. Establish, develop, and maintain cost data, forecasts, and performance reports. Liaise with the supply chain and central client finance team to agree annual budgets and financial reporting in line with shareholder and PMO requirements. Support the Programme Director with schedule updates, variance analysis, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure consistency in project control processes across the programme. Provide guidance to Project Managers and the supply chain on project controls requirements and standards. What We're Looking For: Knowledge & Skills: Strong background in programme, project, or commercial management disciplines. Expertise in governance, strategic planning, risk analysis, and construction technology. Ability to drive performance improvements and deliver results. Excellent presentation, influencing, and facilitation skills. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: Degree qualified (or equivalent experience/training). Experience leading strategic change within large-scale programmes. Proven track record managing contractors, consultants, and advisors in complex construction environments.
