About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the conformity of parts by conducting precise inspections in line with customer drawings, inspection reports, and industry standards. This role requires over 2 years of mechanical engineering experience, prior inspection experience, strong knowledge of GD&T, and proficiency in interpreting technical documentation and using standard measuring equipment.
You will be
* Experienced in mechanical engineering with a solid understanding of GD&T, capable of interpreting technical documentation and utilising standard measuring equipment
* Detail-Oriented: Possessing a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and ensuring products meet stringent quality standard
* Skilled in analysing issues, determining root causes, and implementing effective solutions to maintain product integrity
* Able to clearly document inspection outcomes, collaborate with production teams, and convey quality concerns and recommendations
* A team player, collaborative in working with cross-functional teams to uphold and enhance quality standards throughout the production process
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
* Inspecting work-in-progress and final products, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements and configurations
* Reviewing and verifying associated paperwork at relevant manufacturing stages
* Conducting inspections using conventional methods per inspection reports
* Performing in-line process and product inspections throughout the factory
* Raising non-conformance reports in accordance with the quality system
* Authorising product release within the DPRV department
* Calibrating build and inspection tooling
* Managing collection and release of measuring instruments for external calibration
* Participating in MSA and Gauge R&R studies
* Supporting and advising on new product inspection methods
* Assisting in problem-solving within the company's continuous improvement program
* Actively engaging in safety improvement initiatives
* Developing and supporting new product inspection methods
