As the Ward Lead you will have continuous management responsibility and leadership for the ward area involving the provision of evidence-based patient care, effective and efficient management of resources and the provision of staff development and education. You will be expected to work clinically alongside Consultants, Clinicians and other multi-disciplinary teams. You will ensure that high standards are maintained; with patient safety being your top priority. As a key member of the team and working closely with Matron, you will have the ability to support, teach and develop junior staff and facilitate the delivery of high standards of patient care on the vascular ward.
