This role is based in the Employer Engagement Team, which is responsible for administering/supporting students and employers with year-long work-placements, internships and Careers Service led events. On occasions you will also support the wider careers team with the delivery of networking events and open days.
Day to day, this is predominantly an administrative support role requiring excellent attention to detail, to ensure accurate records are maintained and relevant paperwork is complete. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual with experience of working in an administrative setting, assisting with a high volume of enquiries.
You will also liaise with employers and faculty staff to develop and maintain relationships to support the placement process and growing experimential learning offer. You will also provide support to students through email, telephone, Zoom/MS Teams and in person.
You will ideally have:
• excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, ICT skills and a commitment to delivering a high quality customer service
• previous experience of working within office administration and customer service
• an ability to innovate and make improvements to processes
• excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• excellent organisational skills
• excellent team working skills
Please note - Occasional evening and weekend work will be required for this role.
