Staff365 are recruiting for an experienced Stores / Inventory controller for our new client located in Rotherham.
This exciting opportunity gives the ideal candidate a chance to be part of a new team and be involved in the implementation and upkeep of a new stores facility.

Stores / Inventory Person
Position:
Permanent position with the company from day one
Shifts:
Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 (Please note that this may change to a rotating shift pattern depending upon the needs of the business)
Pay Rate:
£15.00 phr plus overtime and shift allowance (weekly paid)
Location:
Rotherham
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Help build our Stores section of the Computerised Maintenance Management System.
2. Loading and unloading stock.
3. Monitoring and replenishing stock.
4. Picking, checking and accurate counting of parts.
5. Responsible for checking products to ensure correct parts are assigned to the correct jobs.
6. Processing and updating purchase orders on the businesses bespoke system.
7. Packaging items sufficiently to ensure any parts sent to customers or returned to manufacturers can be posted and arrive undamaged.
8. Following up on all orders via the order process, liaising with customers and drivers regarding stock and delivery timescales.
9. Check returned items are intact and not damaged and report any damages to/or defective materials and equipment.
10. Comply with all company guidelines to ensure the company achieves the required level of quality standards.
11. Ensure stores cleanliness at all times.
Skills Required:
1. Computer literate and conversant with Microsoft and other computer programmes.
2. Ability to adapt to a changing environment and contribute to business growth.
3. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
4. Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
5. Willingness to learn and progress.
