We are recruiting for an Operations Director to provide leadership and support for our mental health services in East Midlands South and Staffordshire.
This is a new role ahead of an operational restructure in 2025. The post holder will be responsible for four established services: Cygnet Hospital Clifton and Maple House in Nottingham, Cygnet Hospital Derby in Derby and Cygnet St Augustine's in Stoke on Trent.
They will also lead operationally on a planned program of growth in 2025 and deliver two new hospitals Cygnet Elowen in Derby and Mitchell House in Kidsgrove. All services are within our Health Care division and provide a mixed portfolio of Acute, Secure, MH Rehab, PD and Specialist Eating Disorder services.
The post holder will be responsible for the effective leadership and operational management of their hospitals, ensuring safe, effective care, and excellent safeguarding systems for service users, while maintaining a strong strategic and commercial focus.
The post holder will act as the lead liaison point for all internal and external stakeholders.
It is expected that the post holder will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience in a mental health care management/leadership role, at least at Hospital Manager level
* A good knowledge of the CQC regulatory framework and relevant experience
* Flexible and able to travel to meet the requirements of the role
* Experience of developing new services
* Clinical Background
* Experience of working in the NHS and independent sector
* Experience of Eating Disorder services as well as general mental health services
