We are excited to be seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Legacy Administrator to join our incredible fundraising team! As our Legacy Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting patients and their families, as well as help design, develop and fulfil marketing plans and campaigns for Legacies.
LEGACY ADMINISTRATOR | Band 4 £25,147 - £27,596 per annum
Fixed Term - 12 Months
Being a skilled administrator within our fundraising team, you will assist with a case load of legacies here at Dorothy House, as well as
1. Assisting in innovating new Legacy fundraising initiatives in order to grow our Legacy enquiries and pledgers in both numbers and value.
2. Assuring Dorothy House is delivering a consistently excellent administration service.
3. Identifying reasonable opportunities to maximise the gift values and taking appropriate steps to realise these values sensitively.
4. Efficiently manage and administer aspects of legacy cases which will include both pecuniary and residual gift.
5. Building and maintaining positive relationships with solicitors, executors, and donors' families, ensuring a sensitive and professional approach in all communications.
6. Delivering supporter care that exceeds the expectations of people making enquiries about Legacies.
7. Adapting and monitoring our existing Legacy marketing so that we remain relevant and the charity of choice in our catchment area.
8. Ensuring effective data management and compliance with data protection legislation, ensuring all actions, relationships and communications are methodically logged on the CRM system.
9. Collaborate with other members of the wider Fundraising team where appropriate to support on wider fundraising projects.

HOURS OF WORK
This is Fixed Term role working for 12 months from your start date. The role is a Part Time position working 22.5 hours per week, with Hybrid working opportunities available.
ABOUT YOU
Essential requirements:
10. A proven record working toward targets and deadlines
11. Strong interpersonal skills such as written and verbal communication and be capable of dealing sensitively with patients and bereaved families
12. A skilled Administrator with experience using complex databases/IT Systems
13. Can demonstrate good attention to detail
14. Can work collaboratively across departments
15. IT skills in Microsoft software's such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
16. The ability to work within and collaborate with the larger Fundraising team
Desirable requirements:
17. Experience of working within a fundraising environment
18. Qualification or relevant experience in Legacy Marketing and Legacy Administration and / or Fundraising
19. Prior experience of using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
