Planner – Job Description

Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Construction Director.
Key Tasks and Activities:
The main responsibilities of the Planner will be,
· Working with the pre-construction department preparing tender programmes for submissions.
· Working with the delivery team updating current programmes in line with NEC requirements.
To be successful you will have knowledge and understanding of planning software, and the ability to keep accurate records. The records will be used to provide internal reports regarding progress and forecasts in order to assist the project team to mitigate risk, identify opportunity, and deliver the project safely and on time.

This is a full-time position, based in our newly refurbished office in Ramsgate.
Essential:
* Demonstrable experience in a Planning role.
* Excellent IT skills – competent in the use of Word, Excel.
* Strong administration skills including excellent organisation and communication skills.
* Enthusiastic and a drive to learn new skills.
* Good interpersonal skills, able to interact with all relevant stakeholders (Client, Site Supervisors/Managers and Directors).
Desirable:
· NEC Planning experience.
· Asta Powerproject experience.
Compensation:
Salary starting from £40,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
