Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of regular teachers Follow lesson plans provided by the school and ensure a productive learning environment Manage classroom behaviour and discipline effectively Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress and behaviour Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Prior experience teaching in a classroom setting is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles Effective classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience working as a supply teacher in a similar setting Working Conditions: The role may involve working in different schools on short notice, adapting to different environments and student populations.
